Fall asleep to the sound of waves

Managed a 4 day break in this idyllic spot - and Mother Nature gave us rain 3 of the 4 days, but it didn't matter - sitting inside or on the outdoor lounges watching the surf and birds with a good book was the perfect tonic to city life. The beach house had everything we needed and when there was a break in the weather it was a quick walk to a beautiful and what seemed like our own private beach. The interiors are reminiscent of India Hicks and yet the property still retains its' breeze block 50's heritage and quirky original bathrooms so as to be comfortable and friendly and a home away from home. There is heating, cooling, wifi and all kitchen needs. We will be going again - and the owners are only lucky that we left because we really wanted to stay! --Sarah

Perfect for get-togethers

We really enjoyed our time there. The property is great - perfect for family and friends get-togethers as there is plenty of space. Amenities were good…..Easter 2025

Sisters Bonding

My sisters and I were looking for a getaway for just the three of us after a difficult family year. The house was in an absolutely fantastic position and the amenities were great. The house was extremely comfortable and well resourced with lots of separate living spaces. The bedrooms were lovely as was the sound of the sea.
